Man charged in Muskegon pharmacy robbery

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - A man recently released from federal prison is charged with an armed robbery at a North Muskegon pharmacy.

Police in Muskegon County have arrested Richard Mackey, 33, of Twin Lake. Prosecutors believe he is the masked person who entered the HomeTown Pharmacy on Ruddiman Drive store during business hours on January 19, pointed a handgun at an employee and left with more than 2,000 pain pills.

Mackey has been charged with on one count of armed robbery. His criminal history includes a 2007 armed robbery at a pharmacy in Georgia.
