OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — An Ottawa County man has been arrested and charged after he was found to be possessing child pornography, according to the Michigan State Police (MSP).
75-year-old Robert Bruce Kelly, of Tallmadge Township, was recently arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
State police say evidence was recovered during an investigation of Kelly's home, which was launched after Kelly was reportedly searching, viewing and downloading child pornography.
If convicted, Kelly could face up to 10 years in prison for the child pornography possession charges and 10 years in prison for the cybercrime charges.
Kelly was arraigned on Thursday.
