CALEDONIA, Mich. (WZZM) - Fire crews were called to a Consumers Energy substation Friday morning on reports of an explosion, but crews on the scene report that "random arcing" was taking place.
The Caledonia Fire Department was monitoring the scene at 92nd and Kraft until Consumers Energy crews arrived.
WZZM 13's Angela Cunningham was at the scene and reported seeing sparking from inside the substation. There is no word on whether or not any area power outages are attributed to the incident at the substation.
