Is your school closed on Wednesday? Check our list

Many school districts are canceling classes after the first of several rounds of snowfall rolled across West Michigan on Tuesday.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — As the first of several rounds of snowfall rolls across West Michigan, many school districts are canceling classes for Wednesday.

This comes as several inches of snow fell across the region Tuesday and overnight. With temperatures falling below freezing, any snow or moisture on the roads is expected to freeze over and cause slick spots.

While Tuesday's system is beginning to taper off, most of West Michigan remains under a winter weather advisory until 7 a.m.
