3 people injured in wrong-way crash on US-131

​While the crash is still under investigation, troopers said they believe alcohol was a factor.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Three people were hurt in a wrong-way crash early Saturday morning on US-131. 

According to Michigan State Police Sixth District, the crash occurred around 2:15 a.m. on US-131 near Market. 

Troopers said a 25-year-old woman from Wyoming had been traveling northbound in southbound lanes on US-131 when she hit a vehicle and a tow truck. 

The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Both southbound passengers received minor injuries, according to troopers. 

While the crash is still under investigation, troopers said they believe alcohol was a factor.
