KENTWOOD, Mich. — Check your tickets! A $1 million Powerball ticket was bought at a liquor store in Kentwood over the weekend.
The player matched five white balls to take home the prize. It was bought at Paris Spirits and Wine on E Paris Avenue SE.
It is unclear if the ticket has been claimed yet.
This comes as the Powerball jackpot nears $975 million. The next drawing is Monday night.
The Powerball drawing takes place at 10:59 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and may be watched live online here. Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
