GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Biden-Harris campaign is opening 30 campaign offices across the state with the help of the Michigan Democratic Party.
The offices will be part of the Michigan Democratic Party’s "One Campaign," which will support not only the Biden-Harris ticket, but Democrats up and down the ballot.
Two of the offices, in Grand Rapids and Madison Heights, are already open while the remaining are scheduled to open over the next several weeks.
The campaign offices will serve as the Michigan Democratic Party's "hub for grassroots organizing." They will focus on voter mobilization, training sessions for volunteers, canvass kickoffs and volunteer recruitment events.
“The Michigan Democratic Party is excited to partner with the Biden-Harris campaign and Democrats up and down the ballot to mobilize Michiganders and reject Donald Trump and the other MAGA extremists running for office. Michigan has spent the last three elections rejecting MAGA extremism, and we’re putting in the work to make sure we do it again this November,” said Michigan Democratic Party Chair Lavora Barnes.
The campaign announced 10 locations in the West Michigan area that will have an office:
- Grand Rapids
- Kalamazoo
- Battle Creek
- Holland
- Whitehall
- Hartford
- St. Joseph
- Allegan
- Benton Harbor
- Dowagiac
The campaign said that they aren't limiting the offices to just metro areas, "because Michigan Democrats are committed to engaging every voter in the state."
