She made a career teaching the next generation at Creston High in Grand Rapids. But now that she's retired, Doris Ward is keeping herself busy, decorating the home she and her husband Ira built decades ago in Cascade Township. It includes 8 Christmas trees and a Christmas village that she largely hand-painted by herself.
