Get creative with your next meal

Professional designer Leslie Hart-Davidson from HDD Studios shows us how to get creative at the dinner table.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Why serve dinner the same old way?  Leslie Hart-Davidson is getting creative.  She showed us an easy recipe for Potroastini, which is pot roast dinner served in a martini glass.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Leftover roast beer
  • 2 Cup mashed potatoes
  • 3/4 Cup vegetables form original oast
  • 1/2 Cup corn kernals
  • 3/4 cup gravy
  • 4+ Cheese coins
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Line up the martini glasses and create an assembly line to create the potroastini simultaneously and wow the crap out of your guests.

You can choose to layer your potroastini in whatever way you would like, including making one element more prominent than another. Here is an example of the layering you can try.

  • Splash of gravy
  • Bloop of potatoes
  • Dash of corn
  • Sprinkling of other veggies
  • Splash of gravy again
  • Heap of meat
  • Bloop of potatoes again
  • Splash of gravy (gotta get enough gravy)
  • Cheese coin
  • Salt and pepper on top

Place the potroastini on a small plate for serving with bonus cheese coins or a roll as the side.
