Kitchen & Bath Trends for 2020

Leslie Hart-Davidson from HHD Studios shows off some of the hottest trends for the kitchen and bath.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Professional designer Leslie Hart Davidson from HDD Studios just got back from KBIS in Las Vegas.

The kitchen and bath industry show is the place to see all of the hottest new trends for the home.

Bathroom Vanities
Floating vanities! A big thing to look out for when looking to this design is making sure your plumbing comes out of the wall and NOT the floor.

Creative Storage
Getting creative with storage is all the rage this year. Special fittings for cabinets and draws makes everything so organized.

Black Fixtures
Gone are the days of brushed nickle, cooper and stainless steel fixtures being the most popular choices. This year, the KBIS show floor was full of flat and black fixtures, sinks, doorknobs and more.

Tiles to the Ceiling
A big trend this year is having tiles extend all the way up a wall and to the ceiling. The move elongates a space and can create an accent wall, depending on your tile design and color.

Tech in the Bathroom
Yes, we're inviting Alexa into the bathroom in 2020. Having Google Home or Alexa in the bathroom spaces means a phrase like "Alexa, turn on my morning shower," becomes a reality.
