A tortilla chip manufacturer in West Michigan is moving to a larger location to expand production.

La Fiesta Chips, currently based in Ludington, will move to 8155 Cook St., in Montague, by mid to late June.

The manufacturer sells its chips to hundreds of Michigan retailers, including Meijer, Family Fare, D&W Fresh Market, Kingma’s, Ken’s Fruit Market and Supermercado Mexico.

La Fiesta is spending $1.5 million on the project, which includes an 11,000-square-foot production facility and 4,000 square feet of office space.
