Herbruck's to donate 10,000 N95 masks to COVID-19 response

The masks will go to the State of Michigan Emergency Operations Center and the Ionia County Sheriff's Department.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — (GRBJ) - The largest egg producer in Michigan will be donating thousands of masks.

Saranac-based Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch will be giving 10,500 N95 masks to the State of Michigan Emergency Operations Center and the Ionia County Sheriff’s Department.

“There is a pressing need to provide health care workers and first responders with personal protection equipment as they help those in our community who are affected by the coronavirus, and we’re proud to do our part to help,” Herbruck’s President Greg Herbruck said.

“Herbruck’s is committed to being a good neighbor and supporting our state and the community we call home during this crisis.”

The State of Michigan Emergency Operations Center will distribute the masks to health care workers across the state. The Sheriff’s Department will distribute the masks to local first responders.

Herbruck’s uses N95 masks for biosecurity and to care for hens.
