West Ottawa student arrested again, this time for violating bond

According to officials, a post on social media appears to threaten a witness who saw Davian Weston with the gun and notified school authorities.

HOLLAND, Mich. - A week after bringing a weapon to West Ottawa High School, 17-year-old Davian Weston has been arrested again—this time for violating his bond conditions.

As part of his original release, he was told not to engage in verbally or physically abusive behavior. When the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department was made aware of his posting on social media, Weston was arrested.

According to Captain Mark Bennett, one of the posts appears to threaten a witness who saw Weston with the gun and notified school authorities.

Weston is lodged at the Ottawa County jail awaiting arraignment.

The case remains under investigation.
