GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Professional Firefighters Local 366 posted to Facebook Monday afternoon saying firefighters were on the scene of two separate fires.
The first, a car fire on US-131 at MLK Street.
They said the second fire was a shed fire in the 1500 block of Walnut Street NE.
US-131 is already restricted as construction has begun on the freeway to improve and repair two bridges over Plaster Creek.
Northbound US-131 will be completely closed from 28th Street to Burton Street until April 25.
