Niko Rey Mena, 20, of Wyoming, was charged Friday with assault with intent to murder, carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a firearm while committing a felony.

He was arraigned Monday. If convicted, Mena could spend up to life in prison.

Mena will appear in court on Wednesday, March 20 for a probable cause conference. The judge denied Mena bond, believing him to be a danger to society. The possibility of a bond will be discussed at his next hearing.
