Police seek suspect in Fruitport armed robbery

Fruitport Township police said the a suspect in dark clothing with a mask and dark glasses conducted the robbery.

FRUITPORT, Mich. (Grand Haven Tribune) — Police are looking for information to help with the investigation of an armed robbery that occurred late Sunday afternoon at the Speedway Gas Station, 250 N. Third St. in Fruitport.

The incident occurred at about 5 p.m.

Fruitport Township police said that a suspect in dark clothing conducted the robbery. The suspect’s face was covered with a mask and dark glasses.

Police did not supply any information on what type of weapon may have been used in the incident.

The suspect was driving a red, four-door Ford Fusion, possibly a model between the years 2006 and 2009, according to police.
