ANN ARBOR, Mich — The University of Michigan is celebrating their National Championship Saturday in Ann Arbor with a parade and celebration event.

The Michigan Wolverines football team will be showing off their brand new trophy as they parade through the city starting at 4 p.m.

The Wolverines went undefeated in 2023, earning a trip to the College Football Playoffs and the Rose Bowl. Michigan defeated Alabama in overtime at the Rose Bowl 27-20.

Michigan went on to route Washington in the College Football Playoffs National Championship game 34-13.

Now, the team is back in Ann Arbor and ready to celebrate their monumental season.

The parade starts at 4 p.m. at the President's House and travels to State Street, where it will continue south to Schembechler Hall. The parade is expected to last about 45 minutes.

After the parade, there will be a celebration inside the Crisler Center at 7 p.m. Tickets are sold out for that event.
