LAS VEGAS — The Detroit Lions season ended in heartache at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.
Lions GM Brad Holmes thinks that this season wasn't a "one shot, magical, lucky, cute story" and Las Vegas odds makers seem to agree.
Just one day after the Kansas City Chiefs won back-to-back Super Bowl titles, the odds for Super Bowl LIX were released.
The Detroit Lions were among the top teams predicted to win next year's big game.
Not surprisingly, the two teams with the best odds are the San Francisco 49ers (+500) and the Kansas City Chiefs (+650).
And next on that list are the two teams who lost in the conference championship games: The Baltimore Ravens (+900) and the Detroit Lions (+1200). The Buffalo Bills were also given +1200 odds.
Here are the top 10 teams predicted to win Super Bowl LIX according to vegasinsider.com:
- San Francisco 49ers +500
- Kansas City Chiefs +650
- Baltimore Ravens +900
- Detroit Lions +1200
- Buffalo Bills +1200
- Dallas Cowboys +1500
- Cincinnati Bengals +1500
- Philadelphia Eagles +1700
- Miami Dolphins +2000
- Houston Texans +2500
The bottom of the list included: The Washington Commanders (+15000), New England Patriots (+15000), Tennessee Titans (+15000), New York Giants (+15000), and Carolina Panthers (+25000).
*Note: Odds of +500 means you bet $100 to win $500, or odds of +1200 means you bet $100 to win $1,200.
Super Bowl LIX (59) will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025.
